the first goodbye...

i moved up here young, scared, excited.
luckily, there were many friends by my side.
one of those friends has been on my little journey of life for a very long time.

she is always there to talk-always there to laugh-always there to cry

she is ALWAYS there.

well today I had to say my first goodbye in Logan.

she is going with HELP international to Thailand. 

as we stood at the bottom of my stairs-we hugged and we cried

it's happening -we are growing up.

i feel so blessed that i have been able to grow up with her.

i'm so proud of her and there won't be a day that i don't think about her.

good luck my rachie! i love you so much.  thank you for making Logan a million times better! see ya in 2... months :)

W-O-W!
this conference was the 181ST ANNUAL GENERAL CONFERENCE.
181... think about that. all the words. all the people. I made a goal to watch all of conference this year, take notes, and get as much out of it as was available.. and I DID IT! i have never felt the spirit more during conference and it was completely worth it.
At the beginning of the 2nd session some statistics were read. these are the ones i caught in my notes
as of the end of 2010.............

2,896 stakes

340 missions

28,260 wards and branches

14,131,467 members

272,814 converts

52,225 missionaries

134 temples

while these were being read... this is what i thought... stakes (salt lake butler stake), missions (panama city panama mission), wards, (butler 1st ward), members (all my siblings, parents, nieces and nephews, and missionary), converts (the people bryce have converted), missionaries (bryce, tanner(cousin), and friends), temples (logan, salt lake, jordan river, oquirrh, draper, bountiful, st. george, manti, timpanogas, provo, ogden, and any others in utah i may have missed)

i am SO BLESSED! i am SO GRATEFUL! i am SO PROUD!

Time to Exhale

I've been staring at a blinking cursor not even knowing where to start.
Have you ever had the urge to blog but you aren't quite sure WHAT to blog about?
well I guess I'll blog about my favorite subject. Bryce Adamson Goodfellow
so excerpt from his family e-mail last week MARCH 21, 2011

we have been teaching this person, the person who has her date but she has also been meeting with JWs.  So that was a problem and so we start teaching her and she has all of these things in her head that they have been telling her and really we got stuck we had no idea what to say and what was going on we were lost.  Then I had the spirit tell me to just bear my testimony.  That I knew for myself the BofM was true and so I went off talking about that and I talked for like 10 minutes about it.  After that she told me i don’t know who was just talking but your spanish was perfect and I understood you like you where speaking like a Latino.  It was crazy and she was just like I now know the church is true just from that she was just like I don’t understand why you talked liked you did and what just happen but I know this is true from the words that came out of you.  She told me that it was not me talking and that she really felt that someone else was talking to her and all this stuff.  It was super crazy she just felt the spirit so strong.  This is the best thing that has happened on my mission yet or at least the coolest thing that has happen yet. 


this BOY! i know i blog about him a lot! but if he was your boy... wouldn't you?! :)
so if you couldn't tell i'm still madly in love with him! july 12, 2012 could NOT come fast enough! he is doing really great! he is a GREAT missionary not just a GOOD missionary! it makes me so very proud of him.

so that is my little section about him.... not to the title of my blog! this is how i feel today! after three exams-getting a letter after waiting for a MONTH-and it is finally a sunny day! time to take a breather! relax! let life happen and not try to manipulate it. 

so take time, enjoy the view, and EXHALE! peace and blessings :)

this is a verse of a song called "pass it on".  This song is a brighton camp song. This past friday I attended the welcome party for Brighton Camp.

ok girls... you know what it's like to walk into a room full of girls.  there are many possible emotions

jealousy

superiority

envy

intimidated

embarassed

etc.

well... this was NOTHING LIKE THAT! i literally met 40 of my new best friends! it was the most amazing thing i've ever seen. I was overwhelmed with joy the entire time and when it was over i honestly didn't want to leave.  I have never been so excited for something in my life.  I want this summer to come. I want to pass it on. I want to pass on this place, it's spirit, it's story, and it's love.  I can't wait.
