HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVAN!!

June 13th, 2002
little evan was born! the oldest of the two hanson boys.
he was my 2nd little nephew!
He was the skinniest little baby (and he still is a skinny 10 year old). 
This is how he got the nickname "frog".  He had frog legs. 
he has been a child of many nicknames. frog, neb, nebneb, nebnebnebnebnebneb, evanovich, the colonel.
He was also our first little red head of the grandkiddies!
He has a passion for life. for climbing, for skiing, for gaming.
his new love is HOCKEY which makes my dad a very happy grandpa. 
he is such a loving boy even though he would never admit it!
I miss babysitting him when he was just little! now he is old enough to stay home alone.
I love that today while he was in my car when I asked him what kind of music he wanted to listen to he said, "rap". such a proud aunt!
I hope he always knows how loved he is and that no matter how big he gets he can always come to me if he needs anything! oh and that he isn't allowed to get ANY BIGGER! proud of you nev.

1 month.

ya I can't believe it either! in just one short month BRYCE ADAMSON GOODFELLOW will be home from his mission!
He will have served a full time mission to the Lord and to the people of Panama. 
He will be tan from his elbow down. He won't know any movies.  He won't know any songs. He won't know the new fashion trends. and.. it's going to be GREAT. 
I'm excited to introduce him to all of these new things! help him get back on his non full time missionary feet. 
I'm excited to hear, in detail, his experiences. 
I'm excited to see his expressions and hear the passion in his voice when he tells me about the people of Panama. 
I can't wait to spend hours going through letters, pictures, scriptures, and journals. 
I want to tell him about my experiences at Brighton camp, the U, and my new jobs.
I want to talk to him about our families and what they have gone through the past two years.
I want to see the changes that the mission has made in him first hand.
I want to take A MILLION PICTURES with him.
I can't wait to be back on the MB sport with him on bear lake.
There will be so many exciting adventures when he gets home.

so yesterday, June 6th, one of my best friends entered the MTC to serve the Lord and the people of Nashville, TN! 
I am so proud of her.  
She has wanted to do this for so long and she is perfect for it.  
She is one of the greatest examples I have had.  
Her strength amazes me every day.  
She is so confident in her testimony and doesn't care what people think of her.  The summer of Brighton Camp, we were made roommates and my life changed forever.  From night one I knew that me and her were going to be amazing friends.  Peeing outside together in the snow can do that to you.
I MISS HER already. 
dynamite. I love you. thank you so much for everything you have taught me.  Thank you for making me stronger in my testimony. I am so glad I have had this year with you and many more to come!!!! I love you.
