One told in movies and classic novels.
The kind of love that stays strong through "apply blossom time".
I have been blessed to see a love like this.
My grandparents are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary today.
only 1.2% of people reach their 65th anniversary so... they are against the odds right now.
What a rarity and wonderful thing.
When today the average marriage lasts 8 years when ending in divorce. and 27 years when ending in death.
I'm so blessed to know that this 70 year long marriage won't end in death. it will last forever.
Although sickness, physically and mentally, has started to take their toll on them.. their love prevails.
I am so blessed to have grown up with so much love around me.
Love you Grandma and Grandpa.
